What you provide
The forms collect an email address, town, chapter preference where applicable, and permission to contact you. A name is optional for the mailing list and required for organizer inquiries. An organizer inquiry also records the message you write. Please do not include children’s details or sensitive personal information.
How the details are used
Mailing-list and interest-register entries are used for gathering notices and occasional Society news relevant to the area you select. Organizer inquiries are used to discuss a possible local chapter; they do not subscribe you to the Dispatch. We record when permission was given and which form was submitted.
Submitting a form does not reserve an event place, create a paid membership, or take a payment. Email signups are sent to MailerLite. When email confirmation is required, follow the link in its confirmation email to finish joining.
Storage and access
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Form entries are stored in the site’s database and accessed by the Secretary for Society administration.
For email signups, we also share your email address, name if provided, town, and selected chapter with MailerLite to manage subscriptions and deliver correspondence. Organizer inquiries are not sent to MailerLite. These entries are not published on the website or sold.
The site does not add advertising trackers. The hosting service may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. For form-abuse prevention, the application temporarily stores a hashed network identifier rather than a raw IP address, with an expiration of about one day.
Your choices
To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any mailing. To correct your details or request deletion from our records, email undersocializedmontp@icloud.com. We keep an entry while needed for its stated purpose or until you ask us to remove it. Organizer inquiries that do not proceed will be reviewed for removal.
Payments and other sites
Optional Montpelier donations are arranged separately from membership. When you use an external payment service such as Venmo, that service handles the transaction under its own terms and privacy practices. This site does not collect your payment details.
Paid memberships are not currently available. When activated, payment details will be collected by the payment provider on its own hosted checkout, not by this site.
Maps, Instagram, and other external links have their own privacy practices.
